The EAGLES are in the BIG GAME this weekend, the Super Bowl! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Also, the Eagles are the greatest team in NFL history. I’m writing this before the game. I plan to park my car in the city under the highway where there’s this bangin’ bagel spot. Below is the sandwich I got last weekend, when I parked there for the concert. This is one of my regular Philly parking spots.
I really hope the Eagles win. Last time when they lost to the Chiefs the walk back to my car was so sad, you would never have guessed that people were waiting to go on a victory riot the city streets were so quiet. I hope I get another bagel sandwich too.

Last weekend I saw the Philadelphia Orchestra perform Peter and the Wolf. I once missed my school field trip to the Kimmel Center so this is me reliving that opportunity. Peter and the Wolf is typically presented for kids, so I assumed it was going to be a very family friendly presentation. Some of the kids were literally jumping up and down in their seats which was very cute. In the lobby they had a table set up where the kids could play around with the different instruments.
Seeing the orchestra in person is a terrific experience. If you can understand the appeal of seeing people move to music, this is an evolved yet subtle form of that. Inherently the players are synced with the music but they are all moving slightly differently and you can watch them phase in and out of sync as they cover different parts of the song. The way their hands flutter across the different sections of the orchestra look like a living flock of birds.
In case you have ever wondered what the cheapest seats in the Marian Anderson Hall look like, they’re still fantastic! Below is my view and also the location as depicted on this model I found in the lobby.
